EstablishedMen.com is another online dating website which connects Wealthy Men with “Perfect Princesses”.  Established Men has been discussed in Playboy, Nightline, and Time Magazine.  I rarely review Sugar Daddy websites, but thought it wouldn’t be fair to exclude this pretty popular online dating segment.

I created a profile on EstablishedMen very easily.  The signup process is incredibly simple which is one thing I actually like about this site.  You can make a profile in less than 5 minutes without leaving out any important information.  I did find it comical that when selecting my income, $50,000-$75,000 was an option.  I wouldn’t call that wealthy, but maybe I’m wrong.

After my profile was made I starting browsing around and did find a feature worth mentioning.  You can leave members voice mail messages, and check them online.  I probably wouldn’t use that too much, but I’m sure some members will find it fun and helpful.  EstablishedMen also has the typical messaging and flirting system.

As an “Established Man” I could not message “Perfect Princesses” without being asked to upgrade my account.  You can view profiles, but you’re going to have to pay if you want to contact anyone.  You have two options which are below.

I thought these pricing options were pretty aggressive considering that they’re asking more than the top matchmaking sites like Match and Eharmony.  I wouldn’t be surprised if Established Men reduces their membership prices, or add some cheaper alternatives in the near future.

It’s hard to go a day anymore without hearing the phrase, “Online Dating.” It’s everywhere. Who uses them? Where is the world of online dating headed? All these questions will be answered or at least discussed.

Before the internet and the booming popular of online dating sites, people had few options in how they could find potential candidates for relationships and dating. The traditional way would be to meet someone face-to-face and ask them out, or simply introduce yourself. Or, there were personals sections of the newspaper which was usually perceived as a very desperate attempt at finding someone. Another option which is still relatively popular today is a dating agency. These companies have a database of individuals with personality profiles that they can match with others that might be of interest. This option is probably the most expensive, and you still have the dreaded personal embarrassment of walking in the door of one of these agencies and admitting that you are unable to find what you are looking for without professional help.

This takes us to the World Wide Web. The internet takes away much of the humiliation and vitually all chances of being recognized by peers. Alexa Rankings change quite frequently, especially for online dating sites. There are constantly new sites coming out. Dating sites are spending a lot more money on advertising as well so rankings for some sites have been steadily climbing. For example, Singlesnet was on the ups, then they started advertising all over sites like Myspace. Their ranking is 3 times better than it was less than a year ago. They were the main advertisement on Myspace’s exit page. Other sites that have been stirring up some traffic are Fling and Ashley Madison. Not all are gaining traffic by banner ads. There might be a site or two that should have been included, but these lists include pretty much the dating sites and social networking sites that have the most traffic. These rankings change almost by the minute so they are accurate today, and may not be tomorrrow.

Big news in the internet dating world. Adultfriendfinder has been bought for $500 million. And not just by anybody. By Penthouse. What does this mean? Nobody really knows, but it will definitley change the site around a bit I’m sure. As the largest dating site on the internet for quite some time, AFF has built up quite a reputation for themselves. And it looks like a major porn magazine noticed and thinks they can make some money from it. AFF stated that they have some 1.2 million members!!! That’s a ton. I’m sure Penthouse will be heavily pushing its magazine on the dating giant’s current members. Another question is what will happen to the current affiliates that promote the adult dating site? As of right now, their payout options are not the highest, but the do have some great banners and promotional material for their webmasters to use. As far as an income standpoint, if Penthouse can keep this dating site going for a few years, it will definitely pay for its investment and then some. I guess the owners have made enough money and can never have to think about work again after making this sale.

With all this talk of dating websites, what about the actual cities? What cities have the most singles, and what cities have the most attractive people? After all if you want dates, you want them with the hottest people you can find. Here are the cities with the hottest residents according to a survey on AOL. The statistics for which cities have the most singles as a percentage of population was found on CNN’s website. While this information won’t necessarily help with online dating, it’s good to see what cities are on top of the lists. Most of the statistics aren’t that surprising, except for the cities with the highest percentage of singles. They seem to be much smaller than the other lists of most attractive and hottest hookup cities. After reading which cities have the most hookups. I’m sure most singles would be more inclined to visit, considering a lot of the cities are tourist areas.
