It’s been a while since I’ve reviewed a dating site since I haven’t seen very many big, new sites. A new addition to the online dating world has recently come about, and that’s Spark.com. Spark is the combination of Americansingles.com and Date.ca. Spark’s web traffic looks like it just started taking off on December 14th. As usual I went ahead and created a profile and played around a bit. Here is what I found.

Spark.com is definitely based on a matchmaking process. While creating your profile you’re asked to take a personality survey which is beginning to be a requirement for the majority of online dating websites. Spark has a different line of questioning than anything I’ve seen. They ask you to answer the questions as you were when you were a child. For instance, “How did you deal with embarrassing situations?” I’m sure there’s some sort of psychological process behind this method. Anyway, at the end of the survey you get a “Personality Color” which is what will be used to find your matches. Mine was Yellow.

After my profile was made I started looking around at my matches. I had 15 to start. I looked at several and their profiles were relatively short and basic. The site seems easy to navigate and communicate with matches through chat room, email, flirting, and e-cards. However, to really be able to communicate, you’ll need to sign-up for a paid membership. You have several payment options including month-to-month and longer term options. Seeing as this site is relatively new, I’d be reluctant to pre-may for several months without testing is out first. Below are the current payment options.

Something else I’d point out is that there are only roughly 1,200 people online on a Sunday.  I’d expect this to pretty much be peak dating time and that’s a very low number.  With that  being said, lets go ahead and look at Spark.com’s traffic rankings from Alexa.

EstablishedMen.com is another online dating website which connects Wealthy Men with “Perfect Princesses”.  Established Men has been discussed in Playboy, Nightline, and Time Magazine.  I rarely review Sugar Daddy websites, but thought it wouldn’t be fair to exclude this pretty popular online dating segment.

I created a profile on EstablishedMen very easily.  The signup process is incredibly simple which is one thing I actually like about this site.  You can make a profile in less than 5 minutes without leaving out any important information.  I did find it comical that when selecting my income, $50,000-$75,000 was an option.  I wouldn’t call that wealthy, but maybe I’m wrong.

After my profile was made I starting browsing around and did find a feature worth mentioning.  You can leave members voice mail messages, and check them online.  I probably wouldn’t use that too much, but I’m sure some members will find it fun and helpful.  EstablishedMen also has the typical messaging and flirting system.

As an “Established Man” I could not message “Perfect Princesses” without being asked to upgrade my account.  You can view profiles, but you’re going to have to pay if you want to contact anyone.  You have two options which are below.

I thought these pricing options were pretty aggressive considering that they’re asking more than the top matchmaking sites like Match and Eharmony.  I wouldn’t be surprised if Established Men reduces their membership prices, or add some cheaper alternatives in the near future.

Lets take a look at the traffic statistics provided by Alexa.  To justify these prices, they’ll need some seriously low numbers.  Remember the lower the Alexa score, the better.  The most popular website on the internet has a score of 1.  To see other popular sites, take a look at the Top 25 Dating Sites.

Getiton.com’s traffic has been increasing considerable since the last time I took a look, so I wanted to post some new numbers to show how much it’s grown. Getiton has gone from a small adult dating sites to one of the most popular adult dating sites on the internet today!  So let’s take a look at some numbers…

Getiton.com Find Your Sexually Compatible Match. Getiton is the dating site from Friend Finder Network. It most closely resemble AdultFriendFinder, however, it is pretty different.

I noticed this site over the weekend and decided to create a test profile and see what GetItOn is all about. The first page you’re required to fill out is all about your sexual preferences, what activities you’re into, willing to try, and off limits. After you fill out that questionnaire, you’re taken to a more normal page asking about your basic, physical, and geographical information.

Once your profile is made you’ll have small pop-ups in the bottom right of your screen appear with the option to chat with them. If you’re a male, you’ll have to pay before you can even view a female’s profile.

Getiton.com does have a matching system which is a little less common among adult dating websites. On your homepage you’ll have matches displaying a percentage on how compatible you are.

Getiton isn’t bogged down with tons of features and pages that you’ll never use. It really does stick to the basics. You have your homepage, profile, search, video, and live webcams. That’s all. You can email, flint, im, or add another member to your hotlist.

Getiton is a very fast website. The pages are visually pleasing, and as a whole it operates very will. Being so new, its a good idea to see what kind of traffic Get it on is receiving.

Based on Alexa’s data, the website has been in existence since May, 03 ‘96. But, I’d say the Friend Finder Network got started on it around June, 01 ‘09, which is when you’ll see the traffic spike by a great deal, and then again on July 1st.

SingleParentMeet.com is a unique dating site designed for single parents interested in online dating.  I think this site makes perfect sense, as single parents are pressed for time and could use an online dating community geared specifically towards them.

After browsing the dating site I noticed how smooth the site works.  It’s not bogged down with common advertisements and unnecessary features that slow down internet browsing.  Singleparentmeet.com has many of the typical features of a dating site including flirting messaging, email messaging, live member chat, who’s viewed me, who I’ve viewed lists, deals for members, and more.

I created a free ad to see how many site features I had access to without paying.  I was able to search, view full profiles, send flirt messages, read member articles, and see who’s viewed my profile.  I was not able to send emails or participate in the live chat sections.  If you want to become a paying member, your options are as follows:

Monthly – $14.95/month

6 Months – $9.99/month

You can also pay extra to have your message or profile highlighted for a one time fee of $4.95.  That’s the first I’ve heard of paying to have a profile or message highlighted with actual dollars. Usually you can buy those features with some sort of point system used on the dating site.

So this will be the 3rd time taking a look at SexInYourCity.  This adult dating site is still steadily gaining popularity among the online adult dating community.  As with usual, to test the site again, I make a free profile and see what I can do.  And……

For guys, I’m sorry but you won’t get very far on SexInYourCity.com for free.  You won’t even be able to view other members profiles.  I actually didn’t find one thing you could do there without paying.  Well, you can complete your profile, but it won’t do you any good seeing as you can’t read any messages you may get.

As a female, you have more options.  You can view profiles, and even communicate briefly with other members.  One feature that I don’t recall is the member rankings.  On this page you’ll find 2 lists.  One of the Hottest Members based on things like friends/hottness profile features etc.  The other is Sexiness.  This is based on your “Sex Appeal” ranking.

Other newer pages/features of SexInYourCity would have to be the Video(porn) pages.  You have a free video page, but need to be a paying member to view, and you also have straight pay-by-the-minute porn site access.  Not to mention the Sex Drive pill advertisements.  Sex In Your City seems to be very set on making as much money as possible without worrying about going overboard.  Enough about that, lets see what membership payment options are out there…..

These prices aren’t too out of hand for such a popular adult dating site.  Similar sites will charge anywhere from $20-40 so SexInYouCity is on the lower side of the pay scale.

My last stop is always the traffic rankings by Alexa.  And they managed to make a huge jump up in global and US rankings again.

It’s been a little while since a new site has been reviewed for this site and that’s simply because I haven’t seen any others out there worth adding in a while.   Now I’ve been aware of Mingle2.com for quite some time now.  Probably about 18 months, but finally decided to take a closer look.  I know the creator of the site has extensive experience with search engine optimization and was or is a creator of Seomoz.org(Seo site).  I’m also very sure that the creator of Mingle2 has a hand in JustSayHi.com.  Anyway, let’s get to know the dating site…..

So I made a profile.  It was very quick and painless.  Not a ton sections to complete.  Just the basics.  Mingle2 operates really well.  The pages and site flow together nicely and seem to work very well as a whole which is a bit surprising considering the massive amounts of advertisements plastered all over the dating site.  They have Google Adsense, Mate1, JustSayHi, and plenty other  dating site ads up.  This makes me think that the focus of this site isn’t the dating community thats signed up here, but to make a couple extra bucks by driving traffic elsewhere. (This proves my point that the owner is occupied and focused on JustSayHi, not Mingle2)

The features of Mingle2 are basic and not too exciting.  You have your typical search and advanced search, matches, forums, and a mailbox.  That’s really all there is to it.  The best feature would have to be the “Mutual Matches” system.  This is the same as JustSayHi’s match finding method.  You simply scroll through members and check whether or not you are interested in them or not.  If they respond interested, you now have a Mutual Match.

Let’s take a look at the traffic details for this site thanks to Alexa.  Note that this site has been climbing in ranking steadily since about June of 2008 and hasn’t stopped yet.

It’s been only 2 months since my initial post about UsearchLocal.com and based on their increase in traffic and online dating presence, I think it’s time to give it another look.  The site still feels the same for the most part, but Usearchlocal is definitely getting noticed primarily by their promotional efforts on Singlesnet.

As stated in my previous post about 2.5 months ago, Usearchlocal is heavily promoted by Singlesnet.com and operates pretty much the same.  Once you get past the initial signup page, the members area, search options, and contact options are all the same.  The free membership and paid membership features are also the same as Singles Net.  However, if you create a personal ad on U search Local you will not be communication with Singles Net members which is pretty common when a dating site starts another one that looks so similar.  You are strictly communicating with members of Useachlocal only.  And that’s a good thing because otherwise, there wouldn’t be any use to have a profile on both sites.

What’s most impressive to me would have to be the continual increase in members and traffic that Usearchlocal.com has been seeing roughly over the last 6 months.  In my previous post, their 3 month increase was several hundred percent and they are continuing to beef up their traffic, pagerank, and visibility in the online dating world.  Below you will find the updated traffic statistics from Alexa for Usearchlocal as of today.

Usearchlocal.com is brand new online dating website.  You can create a free profile an instantly begin searching and interacting with 13 million members.  But wait, this site seems pretty familiar???

That’s because when you join Usearchlocal.com, you are joining the same members that are currently on Singlenset.com.  The signup and members area is exactly the same as Singlesnet.  The features are all there as well.  Now, if you create a personal profile on Usearchlocal, you will not be able to log in at Singlenset.  This site is starting to appear in search engines and on other sites in the form of banner advertisements.

Lets take a look at how Usearchlocal is doing based on Alex traffic rankings.

iMatchLive.com is an extremely new online dating site offering a free membership. The site has at least 100,000 members already and is new this month. iMatchLive has all the features you would want from a dating site and more. Features include the following;

• Classified Ads
• Custom Searches
• Flirting Options
• Buddy List
• and more..

The majority of the members of this site are from the US, but I would expect iMatchLive.com to expand into some other countries rapidly by the end of the summer. The traffic ranking is pretty low so I’ll update this post with Alexa rankings toward the end of June.
