Interested in making personal dating profile on PerfectMatch?
I had heard a little about it so I made one. Here is a little info on the sing up process…….
Not a ton about your physical appearance besides the normal questions. That’s pretty much all there is to the first page. On the second page, you are asked to go over a lot of true/false questions about yourself. Followed by some basic personality charateristics that highlight your pros and cons. Perfect Match goes through your religious practices and beliefs a tab more in-depth than most online dating sites.
After you fill out what you are all about, you select traits and geographical characteristics that are appealing to you when looking for in your ideal match. Even after those pages there are more true/false to come. The next set is geared towards your life and livestyle. This goes into intimate encounters, family and friends, jealousy, punctuality, children, music, hobbies, social habits, financial habits, etc.
After you have filled out the first main 4 sections, the last and most significant is still ahead. This is what they call the “Duet Analysis.” This includes 8 pages of questions geared at finding out as much about you as possible so that Perfect Match can find the perfect person for you. The categories of questions in this section are:
- Romantic Impulsivity
- Personal Energy
- Outlook
- Predictibility
- Flexibility
- Decision Making Style
- Emotionality
- Self-nurturing
After all the questions are filled out, you get an online dating personality profile. Here is what mine was(some questions answered without reading).

You are an unleashed personality. You hold nothing back and are willing to put it all on the line, act quickly and expect success. If you fail, you expect success the next time – or certainly, eventually. You also like change, because a changing environment means new opportunity, another chance or an even better mate. At the very least, not timid. ”
Immediately after getting your results back you are asked to sign-up. There apparently is a TV offer which says, “Buy 2 Months, Get 2 Months Free” for $99. With your 4 month membership you get
- Perfect Matches Based on Your Personality, Lifestyle, Value and Preferences
- Unlimited Searches
- Unlimited Emails and IceBreakers
On the last page there is not place to click other than signup, so I’ll assume that this is a pay site only with only 1 option to join. There is also a bonus, which is a free “Finding Your Perfect Match” book by Dr. Pepper Schwartz.
As usual, I like to look at traffic ranking from Alexa. Here are the numbers as of today for PerfectMatch:
- Global: 34,205
- US:8,510
Their rankings are too great to be a pay site only. Especially with such a high startup fee.
